Year 6 at Sayers Croft: Day 2Posted on: 08/10/2019
Tuesday: Day 2 at Sayers Croft and Year 6 really gave it some welly!
Our action-packed day included assault courses, compass and maze challenges, team building, code cracking, blindfold trail, wall climbing, abseiling and running free in the beautiful Surrey countryside!
Today Year 6 squeezed into an 80-year-old underground Anderson Shelter and learnt about how, during World War Two, Sayer's Croft provided safe refuge for children evacuated from London.
This evening we had a magical time star gazing and, with only torch light to guide them, the children set out on an exciting Night Walk exploring the deep dark woods!
