Sayers Croft Day 4

Year 6 have had another great day at Sayers Croft, including welcoming a very special visitor from St Clement Danes! After breakfast, we were delighted to be joined by Ms Harney. The children shared their stories from the week and prepared for their important room inspection. Afterwards, we began our day of activities.
First, we visited the roundhouse, where we learnt about the lives of Celts and Romans. We were able to handle replica weapons, have a go at Roman formations and use a flint and steel to have a go at lighting a fire.
Then, we worked in pairs to complete the Blindfold Trail before working as a class to crack the code in the maze, we were able to decode the message to unlock our movie night snacks from the treasure chest! After a well-deserved lunch break, we moved onto the Woodland Ropes and Challenge Course. We are all so proud of how well the children have been working together, communicating within groups and as a whole class to complete the different challenges.
After some free time and our final dinner (with a class toast to Sayers Croft) we settled into our PJs and enjoyed our movie night. We are looking forward to our final activities tomorrow before heading back home!
