Year 6 had another busy day at Sayers Croft! The class celebrated a special birthday this morning with decorations, singing and sweet treats. After their daily hearty breakfast, the children travelled back in time to the Celts and Romans. They explored artefacts inside a replica Roundhouse, before having a go at spear throwing, fire starting and Roman shield formations. Next, they took part in a blindfold trail, trusting their partner with fantastic directions. During their maze exploring, they cracked the code to the treasure chest - unlocking their snacks for movie night! After lunch, the children showed their excellent team work by completing the challenge course together and had a go at woodland ropes before finishing the day with a zip line. In the evening, Year 6 began packing before their final day and had a fantastic movie night in their pyjamas with their well-earned treats. They are all looking forward to their final sleep before heading back home tomorrow.
